Sequel to the successful racing game

A remarkable upgrade from its predecessor, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged boasts an addition of unique elements and commendable fixes to the original game’s shortcomings. This premium racing title builds on the proven formula established by Hot Wheels Unleashed while introducing aspects long-time fans have never seen before.

Helming these changes is an array of impressive new rides — Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 offers access to over 130 vehicles and even more varieties. These vehicles are not just limited to Hot Wheels™ Originals, there are Hot Wheels™ Monster Trucks, motorbikes, and ATVs as well.

With all-new racing tracks and game modes

Whether you prefer offline racing fun or online camaraderie, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged offers various game modes to align with your preferences. These include Quick Race, Time Attack, Split-Screen, Elimination, Drift Master, and Waypoints. In addition, there is also a new system that categorizes the vehicles, each having a dedicated skill tree. The classes include Drifters, Balanced, Rocket, Heavy-Duty, Off-Road, and Swift, each specializing in different aspects of racing.

Meanwhile, there are five brand-new locations for you to discover and master. Conquering these tracks and uncovering their secrets will bring a rush of adrenaline. New terrains are introduced to the racing tracks, as well. From grassy meadows to sandy stretches, these textures will add an exciting and challenging twist to your races. Plus, you can now jump over obstacles and bump into other racers, pushing them off the track, and adding to the fun.

In addition to the already existing Drift and Boost moves, you can now flaunt a Lateral Dash and perform Single or Double Jumps. The esteemed Track Editor is also back, paired with an enhanced Livery Editor. However, some caveats include a car lineup that’s mostly identical to the first game’s, private lobbies supporting up to ten players only, and limited options of the Track Editor mode.

Shows commendable improvements

With a vast arsenal of vehicles, versatile game modes, and innovative track terrains, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged enhances the Hot Wheels racing experience to an unparalleled level. The introduction of new elements like the Lateral Dash and Jump capabilities, combined with expanded editing features, offer a more dynamic and immersive gameplay. However, there are areas for improvement, such as diversifying the vehicle lineup from the initial game and expanding the size of private lobbies.
